Swim NS will host its first Open Water event of the Summer Thursday, July 16 at Long Lake in the HRM.
This is an out-of-season competition. Therefore, fees will not be paid by the club from standard membership fees.
Registration will close on Monday July 13th (no on-site registration) at 11:59pm Atlantic Standard Time.
Race start times:
- 6:00pm 5km Start
- 6:05pm 3km Start
- 6:10pm 1km Start
- 8:00pm Course Cut-off (all competitors must be out of the water)
Check-In: 5:00-5:30pm
Safety Briefing: 5:40pm
Race Distances: 1km (All Ages), 3km (13 & Over) and 5km swims (13 & Over) – ages as of event day
Fees: $25.00 Swim NS Members, $30.00 Non-Members (registration includes limited membership with Swim NS). Payment: e-transfer swimming@sportnovascotia.ca and use the password ‘swimming’
