Maine Tour Team

Team Nova Scotia continues its annual trip to Maine for Maine Winter Championships March 13-15 in Brunswick, ME. This tour team is for 11-14 year old swimmers that meet the Championship standards for qualification (TBC). If your swimmer is interested in the opportunity please declare. After you have declared please look at and fill out all of the documents attached to this event. You will find: a draft schedule for the weekend; some helpful tips for packing, planning, and travel; an introductory letter from Swim NS; a fillable PDF application document; and an out of country travel permission document. You can also find the documents here (URL ) You will also find last year's qualifying standards for reference. They will likely change a little bit for this year, but it will give you and your swimmer an opportunity to plan and consider the likelihood of them being able to compete.

Deposits and signed applications are due to Swim NS by Friday January 30^th, 2026.  This opportunity is open to all 11-14-year-old registered year-round swimmers in the Province that meet the qualifying standards (age as of March 12^th). If there are any swimmers that are close to the qualifying time, please submit their application and if they don’t qualify, they can withdraw by the final deadline of February 23^rd and receive their $100.00 deposit back.  Otherwise, the trip is non-refundable.

The Team will be provisionally capped at 50 Swimmers. The team will be first come first served regardless of the January 31 deadline. We did have a few swimmers that missed out last year due to deciding late.

It will be a busy March for ECC swimmers if they decide to join this Tour Team. However, we will have an extended Easter Weekend following East Coast Champs at the end of the month.
