December Meet Review - Nova Tech 2

December kicked off with the Nova Tech competitors racing December 6th at Centennial Pool. Miniwaves, TIdalwaves, and Novice swimmers showed up in force and had a very strong Saturday at the races. 

In the Participation end of the pool 10 SWAT swimmers plied their trade. Several swimmer raced in their first 50m events and their first 100 IM. Myra will be making the jump to the deep end to join Level 1 competition in January. Simone had a big 6 second drop int he 25 Fly. We also saw good performances from Santino, Cameron, and Megan. All the Participation swimmers are showing progress in all strokes and we look forward to what the new year holds for them.

18 SWAT swimmers raced as Level 1 competitors. Several swimmers raced in their first 100m events and a few will make the jump to Level 2 after good 100 IM performances. Malia saw 10+ second improvements in the 50 Free and 50 Back. CLaudia also had a big drop in the 50 Free. Jackson will make the jump to Level 2 along with Alexa, Robin, and Victoria. Peyton G, Freddy, and Harper are getting so close to graduating into Level 2. Kyle saw 15 seconds slide off his 50 Fly time. Madeleine saw over 20 seconds total removed from her 3 swims.

In the Level 2 category there were 6 SWAT swimmers present at the meet. Three of them graduated to AA and Age Group competition. Congratulations to Xavier, Evan, and Olivia. Alex and Henry are close. Kai and Lesi are just getting started in Level 2 competition.

2025 has wrapped and we look forward to more success from Nova Tech SWAT swimmers in 2026.
